Argos cancels volleyball through Sept. 14

Argos has canceled all volleyball matches through Sept. 14, including Tuesday’s scheduled senior night home match against Caston.

“We had a positive COVID case on the volleyball team and are isolating due to close contact recommendations and guidance,” Argos principal-athletic director Nick Medich told RTC in an email.

Matches against LaVille (Thursday), Elkhart Christian (Friday), Culver (Sept. 8), North Miami (Sept. 10), South Bend Career Academy (Sept. 11) and Westville (Sept. 14) were also canceled. Argos will also not participate in the Triton Invitational Sept. 12.

Culver at Winamac, ppd.: The Culver-Winamac volleyball match scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed. No reason for the postponement was announced. No makeup date has been announced.
