Jackson, Berndt score in double figures, help Culver come back vs. Winamac

Culver 42, Winamac 33 (Nov. 15): Kennedy Jackson scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and Brynn Berndt knocked a pair of 3-pointers and added 10 for the host Lady Cavaliers in a win over Winamac in their Hoosier North opener on Nov. 15.

Amiyah Williams added seven points and seven rebounds for Culver (2-3, 1-0).

Kandace Kroft led Winamac with eight points.

Culver trailed 25-17 at halftime and 31-28 after three quarters before outsourcing Winamac 14-2 in the fourth.

Culver won despite making just 4 of 12 free throws.

Culver beat Winamac for the first time in Hoosier North play and for the first time since November 2014.
