Lutz, Bowers, Ochoa have 2 hits each as Rochester JV improves to 7-1

Rochester 8, Knox 5 (JV, 6 innings, April 27): Kaleb Lutz, Drew Bowers and Adrian Ochoa had two hits each, and Colton Ferverda had a double and two RBIs for the Rochester JV baseball team in a six-inning road win over Knox on April 27.

Lutz and Bowers had one RBI each. Elijah Jackson had a hit and an RBI, and Callen Ferverda walked three times and had an RBI.

Zakk Parks pitched the first three innings and allowed two hits and one earned run for the win. He walked two and struck out five.

Callen Ferverda allowed three hits and four runs (none earned) in two innings. He walked three and struck out one.

Drew Bowers pitched a scoreless sixth for the save. He allowed one hit and struck out one.

Rochester scored five runs in the fourth to build a 7-1 lead.
