Rochester wins RRC wrestling title again

The Rochester Middle School wrestling team won the Running Rivers Conference for the fourth time in the last five years at Northfield High School Saturday. Rochester has won the RRC tournament the last four times it has been held.

RMS scored 258.5 points, which was 22.5 points more than the runner-up. Weight class champions included Grant Holloway, Sage Pearson, Kale Shotts, Trevor Coplen and Camden Susaraba.

Second-place finishers included Rusty Skinner, Reed Perry and Derek Wortley.

Tanner Horn finished third in his weight class.

Fourth-place finishers included Matthias Jackson, Navan Goodman and Ethan Bailey.

Connor Overmyer and Braylon Smith finished fifth.

Konor Fugate did not place.
