Lady Zs fall to Manchester, drop to 2-1 in TRC

Girls tennis

Manchester 5, Rochester 0 (Monday): The Rochester girls tennis team dropped all five matches to host Manchester in straight sets Monday to fall to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the Three Rivers Conference.

Ella McCarter lost 6-4, 6-3 to Sarah Kerlin at No. 1 singles. The other four Rochester entries won five games total.

Taylor Howard lost 6-1, 6-0 to Myla Crozier at No. 2 singles. Bethany Penrod defeated Rylee Clevenger 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Audrey Bolinger and Chloe Nichols dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision to Carleigh Blevins and Addison Brubaker at No. 1 doubles. Lakodah Clevenger and Sophie McCall fell 6-2, 6-0 at Hailey Krom and Kate Schroll at No. 2 doubles.

Manchester also won the JV match 6-0.

Rochester will travel to Wabash Wednesday.
