Ault sets school single-game 3-pointer record, leads Valley past Triton

Girls basketball
Tippecanoe Valley 66, Triton 41 (Dec. 7): Lily Ault made a school-record eight 3-pointers and scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team to a 66-41 home win over Class 1A, No. 17 Triton Wednesday.

Kaydence Mellott added a pair of 3-pointers and scored 14 points. She also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Valley had a 38-24 rebounding advantage.
Addyson Viers had 14 points and seven rebounds for Triton.
Valley beat Triton for the ninth straight year.
Valley led 27-17 at halftime.
