The Oakland University softball team defeated Robert Morris 5-4 Saturday to win the Horizon League Softball Tournament in Youngstown, Ohio.
Oakland earned an automatic NCAA Tournament bid and will play No. 9 Northwestern in the Evanston, Ill., regional at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Friday.
Notre Dame and McNeese are the other two teams in the regional. The regional is a double-elimination format.

She went 2 for 6 in three tournament games, including a double in a semifinal win over Northern Kentucky and a sacrifice bunt as part of a game-winning three-run rally against Robert Morris in the title game.
