Caston 52, Culver 22 (Thursday): Isabel Scales tossed in a game-high 20 points and also had five steals for the Caston girls basketball team in a Hoosier North home win over

Bailey Harness added nine points and a team-high eight rebounds. Abby Williamson had eight points and five steals.

Culver had 27 turnovers as compared to Caston’s nine.

Caston led 23-10 at halftime.

Caston improved to 11-5 overall and 3-3 in the Hoosier North. They also beat Culver at home for the first time since January 2016.

Maddie Shedrow scored 11 points to lead Culver (4-5, 0-3).

Culver won the JV game 35-34. Emma Kay led the Caston JV with 10 points. Macee Hinderlider had eight, Annie Harsh had six, Alexa Finke and Mikayla Kinser had four each, and Kinzie Mollenkopf had two.
