Girls soccer handles Kouts; Sieber stars as volleyball sweeps Argos

Boys soccer

Culver 7, Community Baptist 0 (Tuesday): Ashton Macedonio scored twice and dished out two assists for the visiting Cavaliers in a win over Community Baptist Tuesday.

David Hite scored in the first minute for Culver off a Macedonio assist to put Culver ahead for good. Joey Pizur, Owen Falk, Sergio Villegas and Joseph Callender also scored for Culver.

Pizur, Villegas and Ethan Keller had one assist each.

Community Baptist is a non-IHSAA school located in South Bend.

Girls soccer

Culver 6, Kouts 1 (Wednesday): Kaylee Hamilton had two goals and three assists, and Giselle Villegas also scored twice for Culver in a road win over Kouts Wednesday.

Kassidy Banks contributed a goal and an assist. Maddie Hamilton had a goal.

Kaylee Hamilton assisted on all three Culver goals in the first half as they built a 3-0 lead. Villegas scored first in the seventh minute.

Culver is 7-2.

Volleyball

Culver def. Argos, 25-9, 25-15, 25-19 (Tuesday): Grace Sieber had six kills, nine serves received and 13 digs for the host Lady Cavaliers in a win over sectional rival Argos Tuesday.

Luci Overmyer had five kills and eight digs. Chloee Danti had 10 assists.
