Argos 36, LaVille 31 (Thursday): Emma Dunlap scored 10 points, and Lizzy Edmonds added nine, and the Argos girls basketball team held host LaVille to two points in the third quarter in a win Thursday.

Argos trailed 16-11 at halftime but assumed a 24-18 lead after three quarters.

Samantha Redinger added six of her seven points in the third quarter for Argos (12-8). Carleigh Miller had a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter as part of her five points, and Amanda Fajardo also had five points.

Argos made more free throws (7) than LaVille attempted (3).
