Dunlap, Stults score in double figures in Argos loss to Mishawaka

Girls basketball

Mishawaka 47, Argos 36 (Nov. 15): Emma Dunlap scored nine of her 13 points in the

fourth quarter, but Mishawaka held off an Argos rally to beat the host Lady Dragons on Nov. 15.

Bella Stults added 10 points for Argos.

Katie Baumgartner scored 19 points, and Jadyn Handley tossed in 14 for the Lady Cavemen.

Mishawaka jumped out to a 16-2 lead after one quarter. Argos trimmed the lead to 20-15 by halftime before Mishawaka extended the lead back out to 37-23 going into the fourth quarter.

Argos made just 2 of 12 free throws.
