Fort Wayne Concordia blanks Valley in sectional semi

The Tippecanoe Valley girls soccer team lost to Fort Wayne Concordia 9-0 in a Class 2A, Sectional 22 semifinal at Culver Academy Thursday.

Valley finished 2-12-1. It marked the final pre soccer game for seniors Jessica Brito, Noellia Ruiz-Quintana and Makena Smith.

This marked the second season of Valley girls soccer. Coach Mark Gordon has headed the program since its inception.

Fort Wayne Concordia improved to 8-7. They will next face No. 7 Leo in the sectional final. Leo defeated Culver Academy 2-0 in the other semifinal.
