The two Three Rivers Conference girls soccer teams in Class 1A, Sectional 35 will play each other next week when the IHSAA postseason begins.

Those two TRC teams are Rochester and North Miami, and when they meet at Newton Park in Lakeville at 7 p.m. Tuesday – LaVille is the host school – it will be their fifth meeting in the last two years.

RHS has won the previous four, including a win over North Miami last year when the sectional was played at Argos.

RHS also beat the Lady Warriors 3-0 this season back on Sept. 23. Macie Nelson, Mercedes Brown and Rilya Heishman scored for RHS in that game.

North Miami is 1-9-1. Freshman Graycie Storm leads the Lady Warriors with five goals on the season.

The RHS-North Miami winner will play the Culver-Argos winner in the semifinals.

Culver and Argos are not scheduled to meet during the regular season.

Culver is 10-5-1 under first-year coach A.J. Neace. They have scored 74 goals in those 16 games. Baleigh Binkley has 28 goals, and Gisselle Villegas has 25. Kaylee Hamilton has 13 goals and a team-high 15 assists.

Argos is 9-4. Freshman Lilly Hines has scored a team-high nine goals, and senior Madisyn Barcus has eight.

Bremen and LaVille received byes and will meet in a semifinal match. LaVille is 4-7, but one of their wins was a 4-0 triumph over Bremen on Aug. 20.

Argos is ranked No. 6 in the state and has won the sectional two straight years. They already have wins during the regular season over Rochester, LaVille and Bremen.
