Hobart expected to name Valley AD Butcher new boys basketball coach

Hobart High School is expected to hire Aaron Butcher as their new boys basketball coach, pending approval at a school board meeting there Thursday. He will also have an unspecified teaching position.
Butcher has spent the past two years as the athletic director at Tippecanoe Valley, but he has previous basketball head coaching experience at Ancilla College and Northern Oklahoma College Enid. He was also an assistant coach at Indiana Wesleyan for three seasons.
He also has previous high school head coaching experience, guiding the Northfield girls team to a 15-8 record in 2008-09.
