Boys basketball
Tippecanoe Valley 55, John Glenn 43 (Dec. 10): Tayde Kiser hit three 3-pointers and
scored 17 points, and Nolan Cumberland added 15 to lead the Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team past visiting John Glenn on Dec. 10.
Kyler Johnson contributed eight points.
Valley outscored John Glenn 14-3 from the foul line, and Valley held Brycen Hannah, who came in averaging 20.5 points per game, to seven.
Joe Chrapliwy led the Falcons (1-4) with 16 points, and Chase Miller added 11.
Valley led 31-25 at halftime and extended the lead to 43-32 after three quarters.
Valley had lost the previous eight meetings against John Glenn. This marked their first win over John Glenn since Dec. 8, 2012.
