Kiser’s big 4th quarter helps Valley put away Southwood
Shepherd adds 17, Cumberland scores 13

Tippecanoe Valley 62, Southwood 47 (Friday): Tayde Kiser scored 15 of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter, and Riley Shepherd hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Valley in a Three Rivers Conference home win over Southwood Friday.
Nolan Cumberland scored 13, all in the first half, as Valley won their sixth straight game and improved to 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the TRC.
Kiser went 10 for 10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter. Valley went 15 for 21 from the line as a team.
Nathan Lehner and Dylan Stout had 11 points each for Southwood, who fell to 4-9, 2-2. Will Winer added nine, and Cole Winer had eight.
Valley led 28-22 at halftime and extended the lead to 39-31 after three quarters.
Valley beat Southwood at home for the first time since Jan. 23, 2015. That season also marked the last time Valley beat Southwood in back-to-back seasons.
