Pearl, Overmyer have multihit games, but Washington Township rallies past Culver

Softball

Culver at Elkhart Christian, canceled: The Culver-Elkhart Christian softball game scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Tippecanoe Valley at Culver, canceled: The Tippecanoe Valley-Culver softball game scheduled for Monday has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Washington Township 9, Culver 8 (Saturday): Maegan Pearl singled, doubled and had two RBIs, and Luci Overmyer also had two hits for Culver in a road loss to Washington Township Saturday.

A.J. Hinds also had two RBIs. Jane Wright had a hit and scored twice.

Culver also received five walks and stole seven bases.

Hinds took the loss in the circle. She allowed 11 hits and nine runs (five earned) in 6 ⅔ innings. She walked two and struck out two.

Culver led 8-4 going into the bottom of the seventh before Washington Township scored five to win it.
