Pioneer shuts down swimming through Dec. 12

Pioneer has canceled six swimming meets through Dec. 12, starting with tonight’s meet at Manchester.

Other meets being canceled include a dual meet at Oregon-Davis Thursday, the Pilgrim Relays at Plymouth Saturday, a three-way meet with North Judson and Rensselaer Dec. 8, a home meet with Delphi Dec. 10, and a meet at Clinton Prairie Dec. 12.

No reason was given for the cancellations.

Wrestling

Pioneer drops 3 Saturday meets, adds 3 duals: The Pioneer wrestling team has dropped multi-team events at North White Saturday, at Clinton Prairie Dec. 12 and at LaVille Dec. 19.

Pioneer also added three weekday duals to its schedule. The Panthers will travel to Mishawaka Marian Dec. 8, host Culver Academy Dec. 10, and travel to Twin Lakes Dec. 15.

Girls basketball

Pioneer adds McCutcheon: Pioneer has added a game with McCutcheon to its schedule. Game time is 5:30 p.m./7 p.m. (JV/Varsity) Dec. 8 at McCutcheon.
