Argos girls basketball team suffered a Hoosier Plains road loss to Class 1A, No. 9 Bethany Christian Thursday.

Emma Dunlap added six points, Ellie Bollenbacher had five, and Baleigh Binkley and Bella Stults had four each.

Argos was held to two points in the second quarter.

Mariah Stoltzfus had 17 points, and Zoe Willems had 12 for Bethany Christian.

Bethany Christian led 12-10 at halftime.

Bethany Christian (13-2, 3-0) is the only unbeaten team left in the Hoosier Plains.

Argos fell to 6-8, 2-1.

The home team has won the last six meetings in this series.
