Link, Iverson reach career highs for Lady Warriors; Kroft also in double figures

Winamac 57, Argos 55 (Friday): Piper Link scored a career-high 17 points, Marissa Iverson had a career-high 13, and Kandace Kroft scored seven of her 12 in the fourth quarter for the visiting Lady Warriors in a win over Argos Friday.
Link’s previous career-high was 14 against Twin Lakes last season. Iverson, a sophomore forward, had never scored in double figures prior to scoring 10 in a loss to Westville Tuesday.
Winamac (2-1) trailed 42-39 after three quarters before rallying.
Winamac has scored 50 or more points in three straight games for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Winamac has scored 50 or more points in the first three games of the season for the first time since the 2011-12 season.
Samantha Redinger poured in four 3-pointers and 30 points for Argos (0-3) in the loss. Alydiah Leed added a career-high 12. Morgyn Barcus had nine.
Winamac made more free throws (12) than Argos attempted (11).
