Rochester’s Stesiak, Valley’s Estep named honorable mention

Baseball

Rochester’s Tarick McGlothin, Kyle Reinartz and Brock Beehler and Tippecanoe Valley’s Owen Kirchenstien, Annikan Pettit and Payton Mills were all selected first-team all-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches.

In addition, Rochester senior Quin Stesiak and Valley junior D.J. Estep earned honorable mention status.

McGlothin, a sophomore, made the team as an infielder. Reinartz, a senior, made it as an outfielder. Beehler, a senior, made the team as an “extra player.”

Kirchenstien, a junior, made the team as a pitcher. Pettit, a sophomore, made it as a catcher. Mills, a senior, made the team as an outfielder.

One player from each team was selected honorable mention.

Southwood, who finished the season ranked No. 1 in Class 1A, won the conference with an 8-1 record. Their only conference loss was to Valley on May 19.
