Richard, Morris combine for 39 in Argos win over O-D

Argos 54, Oregon-Davis 33 (Jan. 13): Sean Richard scored a game-high 23 points, and J.J. Morris added 16 for Argos in a road win over sectional rival Oregon-Davis at the Bobcat Den on Jan. 13.

Richard outscored the entire O-D team 13-8 in the first half. Morris, who scored his 1,000th career point in Argos’ previous game against North Miami, scored 12 points in the second half.

Argos hit five 3-pointers. Argos went 17 for 27 from the foul line while the Bobcats went 4 for 10.

Argos led by 12 points going into the fourth quarter before pulling away.

Conner Danford led O-D with eight points.

Argos beat Oregon-Davis for the seventh consecutive time.

Oregon-Davis won the JV game 40-32. Hunter Xaver scored 14 points to lead the Argos JV. Hayden Hensler added eight, Corbin Rex and Mack Calhoun had four each, and Dominic Burns had two.
