Rochester sports briefs:

Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek to host Hoosier North, TRC tourneys Saturday

  • Round Barn Golf Club at Mill Creek will host the Hoosier North and Three Rivers Conference girls golf tournaments Saturday. The Hoosier North tournament will begin at 9 a.m., and the TRC tournament will follow at 2 p.m. Winamac is the defending Hoosier North champ, and Maconaquah is the two-time defending TRC champ.

  • Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru will host the TRC boys golf tournament. The tentative date is May 11, 2024.

  • The Oak Hill-Rochester girls soccer game scheduled for Tuesday was canceled due to Rochester’s lack of available players. The Lady Zs returned to the pitch to play at Marion Thursday.

  • The Rochester-North Miami volleyball match has been moved up from Sept. 21 to Sept. 20. Start time is 6 p.m. at North Miami. No reason was given for the change in date.
