Seuferer, Steininger, Reese, Backus win 200 free relay

Led by two wins from senior Jake Seuferer, the Rochester boys swimming team scored 275.5 points and finished third out of eight teams at the Warsaw Invitational on Dec. 2.
Meanwhile, the Rochester girls scored 127 points and finished seventh out of eight teams.
Warsaw won both the girls and boys team titles in their home pool. The Warsaw girls scored 540 points, and the Warsaw boys scored 593.
Rochester swimmers combined for 17 personal best swims and five additional season best times.
Seuferer won the 500 freestyle in 5:16.85, which was 6.45 seconds faster than runner-up Riley Foote from Fort Wayne Snider.
Just minutes later, Seuferer also joined Tanner Reese, Spencer Backus and Wes Steininger to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:37.04.
The fastest Rochester girl was Kylie Haselby, who was ninth in the 100 freestyle in 1:11.09. The fastest relay was the 200 freestyle, which was sixth in 2:16.29. The team consisted of Kylie Haselby, Ava Thomas, Skyla Mitchell and Jenna Seuferer.
