Boys basketball
LaVille 57, Caston 46 (Friday): Cain Schanlaub scored 17 points, and Caleb Stinson added 10, but the Caston boys basketball team dropped its home and Hoosier North finales to LaVille Friday.
Talon Zeider added nine points, and Colby Pugh had eight for Caston (7-14, 2-5 Hoosier North).
Lucas Plummer knocked down four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 18 for LaVille (13-9, 4-3). Collin Czarnecki added 17, and Owen Smith had 10.
LaVille led 23-22 at halftime and extended the lead to 44-33 after three quarters.
