Boys soccer
Rochester 9, Oregon-Davis 0 (Saturday): Mitchell Shafer scored six goals, and Parker Wallace and Tyler Reese combined for a shutout in net for the Rochester boys soccer team in a 9-0 road win over Oregon-Davis Saturday.
Wyatt Davis added two goals, and R.J. Keranko also scored for Rochester, who improved to 2-3-1.
Carlos Plascencia had two assists, and Adarius Ranstaed, Braydn Furnivall, Cooper Winn, Grant Bailey, Wallace and Davis each added an assist.
Wallace had two saves, and Reese had one.
The game was shortened to 60 minutes due to the IHSAA Mercy Rule. Rochester led 7-0 at halftime.
