Tippecanoe Valley 9, Manchester 0 (May 17): Seniors Madi Smith and Molly Moriarty homered in their final home game, and Dalynne Bussard pitched a two-hit shutout to lead the Lady Vikings past visiting Manchester in their TRC finale on May 17.
Smith and Anna Shock each had two hits and two RBIs, and Brittany Benn had a single and a double. Maddie Thompson and Abby Bowers each had a hit and an RBI. Bussard also had a hit and a run scored.
Valley only struck out twice as a team.
Bussard walked none and struck out 12.
Already leading 4-0, Valley scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Tippecanoe Valley 10, Kankakee Valley 6 (May 25): Madi Smith doubled and drove in four runs, and Anna Shock had three singles and two RBIs as the Tippecanoe Valley softball team beat Kankakee Valley in the Class 3A, Sectional 20 semifinals at Kankakee Valley on May 25.
Molly Moriarty also had three hits, including a triple, and Mackaylie Costello had three hits, including a double. Dalynne Bussard had two hits and two RBIs at the plate and also struck out eight in the circle.
Maddie Thompson also had two hits. Corinna Stiles contributed a double.
Bussard pitched a four-hitter, but she also walked seven. Valley committed three errors which led to three unearned runs for the Lady Kougars.
Valley led 10-2 after six innings and held on as Kankakee Valley scored four runs in the seventh.
Kankakee Valley was a reigning Class 3A regional champion.
Tippecanoe Valley improved to 16-6. Kankakee Valley finished 14-17.
