Peru 56, Caston 31 (Wednesday): Sam Smith scored seven points, and Cam Kline and Kade Zeider scored six each for Caston in a loss to host Peru in the Miami County Invitational championship game Wednesday.
Kade Townsend scored 15 points, and Matt Ross added 10 for the Tigers (7-0), who won the tournament for the eighth straight year.
Peru led 23-18 at halftime and extended the lead to 38-22 after three quarters.
Zeider made the all-tournament team.
Caston travels to Culver on Jan. 8.
