Caston 52, North White 29 (Feb. 2): Caleb Stinson scored a game-high 17 points, and Jackson Rentschler and Cain Schanlaub had nine each for Caston in a road win over sectional rival North White on Feb. 2.
Rowan Jellison scored five points, including a 3-pointer from beyond halfcourt at the halftime buzzer that gave Caston an 18-17 lead.
They then outscored North White 23-3 in the third quarter to build a 41-20 lead.
Dane Hood had 15 points to lead North White.
This was the teams’ first meeting since North White’s 63-59 win in last year’s sectional semifinal at Tri-County.
This marked Caston’s first road win over North White since Jan. 24, 2015. The teams have split their last eight meetings.
Caston improved to 6-9. North White fell to 3-13.
