Valley boys win 4-way meet from NM, Whitko, Lakeland Christian

Miller takes 800, 1,600, Lowe wins 3,200 as Lady Vikings take 2nd

Tippecanoe Valley 100, North Miami 68, Whitko 44, Lakeland Christian 7 (boys, April 11)

Chesnee Miller won both the 800 and 1,600 meters and also took second in the long jump for the Valley girls team as they finished second behind Whitko in a four-way meet that also included North Miami and Lakeland Christian on April 11.

In addition, McKenna Lowe won the 3,200, and the 4 x 100 relay of Caitlyn Ransbottom, Kendyll Ransbottom, Betty Shepherd and Alexis Elliott also won.

In the boys meet, Nate Parker and Cody Black finished 1-2 in both the 100 and 200 to account for 16 of Valley’s 100 points. Also, Eric Burke won the high jump at 6-0, and Wade Jones won the 400.

Jones also anchored the victorious 4 x 400 relay which also included Parker, Colton Crabb and Cody Eastgate.
