Vincent homers, Cripe fires no-hitter in Pioneer rout of Argos

Pioneer 14, Argos 1 (5 innings, April 10): Jocelynn Vincent singled twice, homered and had five RBIs as part of a 15-hit Pioneer attack in a home win over Argos on April 10.

Crystabelle Blickenstaff had two hits and three RBIs, and Holie Zellers had two hits and two RBIs. Adeline Cripe also had two hits.

Emma Sells, Kamryn Newby, Kylie Attinger, Casey Webb, Shaylee Goings and Ava Beasy had one hit each. Attinger and Goings also had one RBI each.

Pioneer also stole 11 bases.

Cripe pitched a no-hitter with one walk, two hit batters and seven strikeouts. The only run she allowed was unearned.

Pioneer scored in all four innings in which they batted.

Kadyn Baughman had the lone RBI for Argos. Sydney Lewark allowed five hits and seven runs (four earned) in one inning and took the loss.

Pioneer 13, LaVille 1 (5 innings, April 21): Jocelynn Vincent homered and drove in four runs, and Casey Webb homered and had two RBIs for Pioneer in a Hoosier North home triumph over LaVille on April 21.

Cailyn Colford and Shaylee Goings each added an RBI.

Emma Sells had two hits. Vincent also added a single, and Crystabelle Blickenstaff and Adeline Cripe also had singles.

Pioneer batters also walked eight times, including three for Kylie Attinger, and were hit by six pitches. Pioneer also stole eight bases.

Goings pitched a four-hitter with no walks and five strikeouts.
