BY VAL TSOUTSOURIS Sports Editor, RTC Girls golf The IHSAA has moved the girls golf state finals from Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel to Battle Ground Golf Club due to “extreme weather events.” The IHSAA Executive Committee voted to move the state finals at its Aug. 25 meeting. The IHSAA said that Prairie View, which borders the White River, was “greatly affected” in a statement. Prairie View has hosted the state finals for the last 12 years. Start time is 5:30 p.m. Boys tennis The Marion-Tippecanoe Valley match scheduled for Aug. 15 was canceled. Cross-country The Northfield Invitational scheduled for Aug. 15 was canceled.
