Backus scores 4 goals, leads Rochester past Culver in regular season finale

Rochester 7, Culver 1 (Sept. 30): Spencer Backus scored four goals, and Carlos Plascencia, Grant Bailey and Kaison Williams had one goal each for the visiting Zebras as they beat Culver in their regular season finale Sept. 30.

Plascencia also had an assist.

Elliot Miller stopped the only shot he faced in goal, and Grant Reese added two saves on three shots he faced.

Rochester completed the regular season 4-10-1.

Johnny Villegas scored the lone Culver (1-12) goal.
