Tippecanoe Valley junior pitcher-shortstop Hunter Paxton was voted first-team All-Indiana Northern State Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Wednesday.
Meanwhile, senior third baseman Gage Hileman was named honorable mention all-conference.
Paxton with .317 with seven RBIs. He led the team with eight extra-base hits and had an .849 OPS.
Paxton also had a 2.67 ERA in a team-high 36 ⅔ innings pitched.
Hileman hit .229 with a team-high 10 RBIs and a .572 OPS.
Valley finished 3-17 overall and 1-9 in the INSC.
Bremen won the conference with a 9-1 record.
Jimtown’s Brodric Kaler was named conference Player of the Year, and Bremen’s Aaron Perch was named conference coach of the year.
