NM center fielder Meredith named first-team All-State

The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association has named North Miami senior center fielder Ryan Meredith to its Class 1A All-State team.

Meredith hit .404 with 23 RBIs and a 1.001 OPS. He finished with 37 stolen bases, which put him in a tie for fourth in the state.

North Miami went 19-13 overall and tied for second in the Hoosier North with a 13-3 conference mark. North Miami win the third sectional and first regional titles in school history.

To be eligible to be honored, a coach must be an IHSBCA member, and the coach must nominate the player. IHSBCA members do the voting.
