Rochester 8, Twin Lakes 2 (Wednesday): Taylor Navara scored four goals and dished out an assist as the Rochester girls soccer team handled host Twin Lakes in their regular season finale Wednesday.

Bria Rensberger, Zandra Handy, Makenna McKee and Morgan Simpson also scored for the Lady Zs, who bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to Northwestern and improved to 8-6-2.

Rensberger, McKee, Izzy Hook and Hailey Howell added one assist each.

Alexandria Cortes-Gustafson stopped one of the three shots she faced. Makhia Harding replaced her in net and stopped the only shot she faced.

Navara has scored 16 of the team’s 38 goals. Rensberger scored her first goal since she notched a hat trick against Taylor on Sept. 15, 2025.

Rochester will play Culver in a Class 1A, Sectional 36 quarterfinal at Culver at 6 p.m. Monday.
