Nine Rochester football players, including five linemen and leading rusher Brant Beck, were selected first-team All-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.
The nine included three offensive players and six on defense.
The offensive players included right guard Callen Ferverda and left tackle Declan Gard and fullback Beck. Beck finished with 1,283 rushing yards for the season and 4,692 for his career. He ran for 9.6 yards per carry on the season and 9.4 for his career.
The defensive players honored included ends Grant Clark and Mason Hisey, linebacker Jabez Yarber, defensive backs Zakk Parks and Clarence Garrett. Tackle Matt Crossland was an at-large selection.
All nine players honored were seniors.
Juniors Trenton Meadows and Ethan Bailey were named honorable mention.
Meadows had 676 yards rushing and 227 yards receiving, and he scored 16 touchdowns.
Bailey, an inside linebacker, had 60 tackles, which ranked second on the team behind Beck’s 66.
Rochester went 8-0 to win their first outright TRC title in 11 years.
