Paulik, Parks, Reinartz, Coleman, Bowers, Casper recognized; Beck makes honorable mention

Baseball

Rochester’s Carson Paulik, Zakk Parks, Tanner Reinartz, Brady Coleman, Drew Bowers and Parker Casper were named first-team All-Three Rivers Conference in voting done by the conference’s coaches and released to the media Tuesday.

In addition, Brant Beck was named honorable mention All-TRC.

Paulik made it as a pitcher, Parks as a catcher, Reinartz and Coleman as infielders and Bowers and Casper as outfielders.

Paulik, a junior, went 5-2 with a 1.83 ERA. In 46 innings, he allowed 37 hits and 12 earned runs while walking 20 and striking out 65. He did not allow a home run. He also hit .300 with a homer and 13 RBIs at the plate while recording an .850 OPS.

Parks, a junior, hit .328 with one homer and 17 RBIs and an .877 OPS.

Reinartz, a senior, hit .515 with seven homers and a team-high 32 RBIs and a 1.517 OPS. He also led the team with 19 walks and contributed 16 stolen bases. He also had a 2.42 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 17 ⅓ innings on the mound.

Coleman, a sophomore, hit .312 with one homer and 13 RBIs and an .871 OPS. He led the team with 25 stolen bases. He also went 4-1 with a 3.50 ERA in 12 pitching appearances

Bowers, a senior, hit .389 with a homer and 14 RBIs and a .984 OPS. He also stole 18 bases.

Casper, a sophomore, hit .329 with 20 RBIs and an .824 OPS. He stole 13 bases without being caught, and he committed no errors in center field. Casper also went 3-1 with a 3.50 ERA in 11 mound appearances.

Beck, a junior, with .325 with 24 RBIs and a .773 OPS. He also went 4-3 with a 4.89 ERA in 34 ⅓ innings on the mound.
