Adams Central’s Howard eliminates Reinartz

Rochester’s Tanner Reinartz lost to Adams Central’s Ean Howard 6-1, 6-0 in a sectional singles match at Peru Wednesday, ending his season.

Reinartz had advanced in the singles tournament with wins over players from Manchester and Fort Wayne South Side before falling to Howard.

The season for the Rochester team ended with a 3-2 loss to Manchester on Sept. 28 in the sectional semifinals at Peru.
