Argos AD Binkley: No baseball team ‘at the moment’

Argos will be canceling nonconference games and forfeiting conference games as they do not currently have enough players for a team, according to athletic director Damon Binkley.
“The goal is to be able to field a full team later in the season,” Binkley said in an email to RTC. “If that goal can’t be obtained, then we will unfortunately have to cancel the rest of the season.”
Binkley added that he wants to know by the end of the month whether they can resume the season.
The Argos roster sent to RTC at the start of the season listed nine players.
Argos lost 21-1 in five innings to Winamac on April 7. They have not taken the field since. They forfeited an April 9 game against Winamac and also forfeited two games to Caston and two games to North Miami.
