Northwestern 3, Argos 1 (Saturday): Keagan Stanley scored an unassisted goal in the 72nd minute, but Northwestern snapped the visiting Dragons’ nine-game unbeaten streak Saturday.
Jake Carmona, Ty Kidwell and Conall Miller scored for the Tigers, a defending Class 2A sectional champion.
Northwestern had an 11-5 advantage in shots on goal. Sawyer Crace had eight saves for Argos.
Northwestern led 2-0 at halftime.
Argos (7-2-2) will host Taylor at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
