Argos girls basketball roundup: Pizzuto scores 12, but Lady Dragons fall to 0-2

Girls basketball

Jimtown 42, Argos 36 (Thursday): Leah Pizzuto hit three 3-pointers and scored 12 points, and Ellie Bollenbacher added 10 for Argos in a road loss to Jimtown Thursday.

Lexi Gibson added eight points, and Kinzlee Kelly had six, all in the fourth quarter.

Jimtown led 26-15 at halftime but Argos cut the deficit to 31-25 after three quarters.

Argos dropped to 0-2.

Jordyn Williams hit five 3-pointers and scored nine of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter.
