Argos holds Culver without first-half FG, wins girls Bell

Argos 29, Culver 26 (Nov. 22): Ava Stackhouse scored a career-high 10 points, and the visiting Lady Dragons held Culver without a field goal in the first half and without a point in the second quarter in winning the Bell on Nov. 22.

Baleigh Binkley and Bella Stults added six points each, and Emma Dunlap had five.

Argos built a 17-3 halftime lead and held off a Culver rally in the fourth quarter.

Rose Peterson hit four 3-pointers and scored 12 points for Culver.

Argos defeated Culver for the 12th consecutive time.

The teams will meet again in the quarterfinals of the Bi-County Tournament at Culver on Jan. 17.
