Bailey, Murphy win, but the Lady Zs fall to Wabash

Girls tennis

Wabash 3, Rochester 2 (Monday): Olivia Bailey won in straight sets at No. 1 singles, and Emma Murphy won in straight sets at No. 2 singles, but the visiting Lady Zs lost to conference rival Wabash Monday.

Shelby Pearson lost at No. 3 singles in straight sets, and the doubles teams of J.J. Graber and Abriella St. Martin at No. 1 and Hailey Crissinger and Ella Ramsey at No. 2 both lost in straight sets.

Rochester fell to 5-7 overall and 2-4 in the Three Rivers Conference going into Wednesday’s road match against Maconaquah.

Singles

Olivia Bailey (RHS) won 6-0, 6-2.

Emma Murphy (RHS) won 6-3, 6-2.

Shelby Pearson (RHS) lost 6-0, 6-4.

Doubles

J.J. Graber-Abriella St. Martin (RHS) lost 6-1, 6-1.

Hailey Crissinger-Ella Ramsey (RHS) lost 6-0, 6-1.
