Beldon scores twice, helps Argos blank Culver

Argos 6, Culver 0 (Saturday): Kenyan Beldon scored twice and dished out an assist for the visiting Dragons in a win over Culver Saturday.
Corbin Rex and Fajardo scored less than two minutes apart in the first half as Argos built a 2-0 lead. Zach Smith scored in the final minute of the first half, and Ayden VanDerWeele completed the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 67th minute.
Beldon’s first goal came on a penalty kick, and his second came off a Fabion Olivares assist. Artur Stefani-Tonin also had an assist.
Argos outshot Culver 17-0.
Angela McMillen had the shutout in goal.
Argos led 3-0 at halftime.
Argos won their fifth straight game and improved to 5-1 overall, 3-0 Hoosier North. Argos is the only remaining unbeaten team in conference play.
Culver fell to 1-4, 0-1.
