Rochester def. Wabash, 25-19, 25-22, 25-19 (Tuesday): Audrey Bolinger had eight kills, three blocks and three aces to lead the Rochester volleyball team to a road triumph over conference and sectional rival Wabash at Coolman Gymnasium Tuesday.
Lillee Lett added six kills, and Darah Strasser had five.
Sophomore middle hitter Avarie Montel also had three blocks.
Rylee Clevenger had 14 digs and 11 serves received, and Aubrey Wilson had 13 digs to go with her team-high 23 assists. Lett had 12 digs and 13 serves received. Logyn Honkomp also had 12 digs. Strasser had nine digs and a team-high 15 serves received.
Rochester improved to 4-20 overall and 3-5 in the Three Rivers Conference.
Kierra Wilson had nine kills for the Lady Apaches, who fell to 8-12, 3-3.
This was the teams’ first meeting since Wabash eliminated Rochester in last year’s sectional semifinal.
Rochester will face another sectional rival Thursday when they travel to Winamac.

Rochester goes 0-4 at Warsaw tournament
The Rochester volleyball team went 0-4 at the Warsaw tournament Saturday to fall to 3-20 on the season.
The Lady Zs lost in two sets to Warsaw, Tippecanoe Valley, Fort Wayne Northrop and West Noble.
