Brooke, Attinger help Pioneer top Culver

Girls basketball

Pioneer 62, Culver 49 (Nov. 19): Ashlynn Brooke hit four 3-pointers and scored 31 points, and Kylee Attinger scored 10 of her 12 points in the first half for Pioneer in a Hoosier North home win over Culver on Nov. 19.

Brooke scored 12 points in the first quarter, eight in the second quarter and 11 in the third quarter.

Pioneer led 35-23 at halftime and extended the lead to 55-38 after three quarters.

Kennedy Jackson scored 14 points for Culver. Rose Peterson added 12, and Grace Sieber had 11. Culver hit nine 3-pointers.

Pioneer beat Culver for the seventh straight season.
