Brooke scores 30, grabs 10 rebounds as Pioneer pulls away in 2nd half vs. Tri-County

Girls basketball

Pioneer 58, Tri-County 38 (Nov. 5): Ashlynn Brooke scored 30 points and hauled down 10 rebounds, and Kylie Attinger had 11 points and six rebounds for the Pioneer girls basketball team in a season-opening win over host Tri-County Nov. 5.

Pioneer led 27-23 at halftime and extended that lead to 43-30 after three quarters.

Pioneer made more free throws (15) than Tri-County attempted (11).

Sara Zarse had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Lady Cavaliers.

Pioneer defeated Tri-County for the sixth straight meeting.
