Caston baseball ranked No. 15 in preseason poll

The Caston baseball team is ranked No. 15 in the preseason Class 1A coaches poll.

Caston is coming off a 13-10 season in 2023. They went 8-6 in Hoosier North play. The season ended with a sectional quarterfinal loss to eventual sectional champion Southwood.

They are the only ranked team in Sectional 52.

Practice statewide started on Monday.

The season begins with a home game against Manchester on April 6.
