Delphi 2, Caston 1 (Thursday): The host Comets suffered a loss to Delphi at the Comet Crater Thursday to drop to 2-7-1.
The game was tied 1-1 at halftime.
Caston 4, North Miami 3 (PKs, Sept. 16): Mack Mappin scored all three Caston goals in regulation play, and the Comets converted all five of their penalty kicks in the decisive shootout in a win over conference and sectional rival North Miami at the Comet Crater Sept. 16.
Mappin was one of the Caston players who made his penalty kick as well.
The game was tied 3-3 after regulation and two seven-minute overtime periods. Caston outscored North Miami 5-3 in penalty kicks.
